WHEELS FOR EDUCATION

‍ ‍

In Western Uganda’s Kabarole District, several villages lay among lush banana plantations.
‍ ‍
Here, families know that education means a better future for their children, but significant barriers stand in the way.

For students of these communities, getting to school means walking along rough, often dangerous roads shared with motorcycles and trucks. On a good day this journey can take almost two hours each way.
‍During the rainy season, roads turn to mud, and streams overflow, leaving children soaked, exhausted, or unable to reach school at all. Additionally, once there, the community school buildings are inadequate and lack clean water and proper sanitation facilities.

WHEELS FOR EDUCATION AFRICA was created to change this reality.

Our goal is simple: provide children in this area with safe, reliable transportation while improving essential school infrastructure, including bathrooms and classrooms.

With your support, we can:

• Reduce long, exhausting, and risky walks for many young children.

• Ensure children can attend school regularly, even during the rains.

• Give young learners a chance to focus on their dreams instead of the hardships of their journey.

Every donation makes a difference

Join WHEELS FOR EDUCATION AFRICA in giving children the gift of education and the freedom to pursue their future. Together, we can turn long, dangerous walks into short, safe rides toward knowledge and opportunity.
