FUTURE FOR COMMUNITY SCHOOLS

Community Schools

Tucked far from main roads, community schools in the most remote areas in Uganda are often the hardest to reach, and the easiest to forget. With no outside help, local parents take it upon themselves to build schools using whatever natural materials they can gather. These makeshift structures are a testament to their determination, but they remain fragile and unsafe, lacking sanitation facilities and clean water, leaving children to learn in conditions that put their safety at risk instead of nurturing their growth.

WHEELS FOR EDUCATION AFRICA is here to change the current situation by creating a lasting impact. This year, we have built new lavatories and provided clean water for two community schools in Kasenda Sub-County.

Our mission is to rebuild these schools into resilient and welcoming places for learning by leveraging smart, community driven partnerships.

Your gift will provide:

• Safe, secure classrooms built with strong, lasting materials

• Desks and benches, where children no longer have to crowd together or sit on the bare ground

• Hope, dignity, and opportunity for the entire community

Every donation makes a difference

Join WHEELS FOR EDUCATION AFRICA in giving children the gift of education and the freedom to pursue their future. Together, we can rebuild the school into a secure, durable, and welcoming environment where every child can learn without fear.
