Community School

Tucked far from Kabarole district's main roads, community schools in the most remote areas are often the hardest to reach, and the easiest to forget. With no outside help, local parents take it upon themselves to build schools using whatever natural materials they can gather. These makeshift structures are a testament to their determination, but they remain fragile and unsafe, lacking sanitation facilities and clean water, leaving children to learn in conditions that put their safety at risk instead of nurturing their growth.

WHEELS FOR EDUCATION AFRICA is here to change the current situation by creating a lasting impact. In the past three months, we have built new lavatories and provided water clean for two community schools.

Our mission is to rebuild these schools into resilient and welcoming places for learning by leveraging smart, community driven partnerships.
